Place was great for dinner very quiet and romantic. Took my wife here and had the orange almond chicken which was delicious. The dinner comes with a choice of a few different wines white and red which are totally complimentary and jalapeño toasted bread which mostly sweet with spicy flavor. Our waiter Shaun was prompt, polite, and friendly. He served me and me wife the whole time and never forgot about us or our wine. Definitely recommending to friends and couples especially.
I got their breakfast sandwich and tortilla soup. My friend is vegetarian and found quite a few options. Service was quick and friendly. The soup was AMAZING. And the prices were super cheap! We picked this place purely off photos from google and Yelp and were extremely impressed overall.

This was my first visit to Courtyard Cafe. We arrived around 10 a.m. on Sunday and didn't have to wait for a table. I had the apple / cinnamon waffle and it was great. All of the staff did a good job. The prices were more than reasonable. Courtyard Cafe pretty much checked all of the boxes for me. That's why I gave it 5 stars.
The wife and I had breakfast here on Monday, and wow! It was very tasty, and the service was excellent. We both had the standard breakfast (I had eggs, bacon, sausage, and cheesy grits, the wife had fruit instead of grits). Carlos was a great waiter, and was friendly to boot. My wife has a Gluten allergy (Hoshimoto's) and needs to stay away from anything with wheat. They were able to accommodate no problem! We went back with my Wife's grandmother on Tuesday, and were fortunate enough to get Carlos again. Same great service. I had the jambalaya omelette, and was a little sad that I hadn't had it the day before! Grandma stated that we had found a great little gem and I made sure to email her the location so she could find it again. She's traveled the world as a newspaper journalist, and has had food at some of the best places, and was completely pleased with the food here. I'm a big foodie myself, and had to agree. The next time we're in San Antonio, we'll definitely be back.

Amazing Breakfast! Best waffle I've had in a long time -crispy and flaky on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The Southwest Omelette was the perfect savory compliment to the meal. The fried potatos are also amazing. Highly OVERLOOKED and apparently very UNDER-RATED.
