Everyone was very accommodating. It is a beautiful sacred place.

To me Holy Cross is a neighborhood Catholic cemetary and has been since the 60's. Over the years watched it become a beautiful burial grounds and mausoleum. Nice attractive statuary, impressive entrance, well maintained grounds, user satisfaction, etc. One of their more impressive features in the cemetary is hidden behind the Mausoleum which visitors and mourners seldom see: the 14 Stations of the Cross. As impressive as they are, their location is too close to the backside of building so one can not appreciate the impact since the stations can not be viewed in their totality. The sign for the Cementary along Nacogdoches Road is old, worn, & neglected and detracts from the beauty of the burial grounds.
Very soothing to be among those who have passed. I have panic attacks and I can come here and talk to those who I pray for and beg for intercession on my behalf and those who are in need of DIVINE.MERCY. . THANK YOU JESUS WITH WHOM I STUGGLE TO JOIN IN THE SOULS AND SUFFERINGS OF THE WHOLE WORLD I AM NUMB AND WEAK...ABYSS OF MY LIFE SINS AND MY HEALTH IT'S ALL AT THE FEET OF THE CROSS. 4GIVE ME FATHER
My mother Margret Hansen died 1 year ago this month. My father passed away 35 years ago and it was their plan to be buried next to one another in the mausoleums they purchased. Holy Cross has still not put the date on her headstone since passing last year. I know it it the top one so maybe they think it is OK to not finish a job. It is unacceptable to take so long! I will tell others to be careful using Holy Cross!
