Four days ago we went to get some good over there, and as I was waiting in the mini van we have, i notice the van sounding and acting funny. Then i notice the dummy light for the battery was flashing rapidly and and the radio was turning off and on, then it just turned off. I called my wife from the car cause i was in there due to back injury from work. And as she came out the and went to leave the battery just died. Sherry from Gabriel's tried to give us a jump start but the battery was just completely dead now, its good to know people like Sherry took some of her busy time and tried to help us. Now just because of that we made a new friend there at our favorite place to get the best drinks. Thank you Sherry for doing your best to help us with the jump start. We appreciate it very mush. Your the best. :D
Awful experience. Call to know if they had a specific kind a liquor in store (that I bought previously bought there). Person was rude and say he ever heard of it so they most not carry it. If you are answering the phone at less be helpful or let it go to voicemail
I usually prefer Spec's for the cash/debit discount, but Gabriel's is an excellent store too and has more locations that don't necessitate driving so far to get what I want. This location is always very quiet and never usually has more than 1-2 people working and they leave you alone unless you ask for something. Makes my shopping a lot more pleasant because I like not having to deal with 5+ employees pestering me while I'm gathering my items. Plus, everything is labelled really well so it's not exactly vexing to know where you should aim your face to look for a particular kind of liquor. Prices are good (MILES better than the other liquor stores on Walzem) and selection (especially the whiskey and bourbon) is excellent for a smaller store.
