I was a student at Dwight as a child, I decided to name my son, after me...I was not a very good student during my time there. Well anyway a former teacher of mine recognized his name, and asked if there was any relation to me. Have you, it's been over 15 yrs. My son responded, "I'm nothing like my dad"! He has been true to his word, he is an excellent student! A young man in whom I am so proud of. I want to take this opportunity, to thank the staff, and faculty there for helping to shape and form this intelligent young man.

Best school ever
One of the worst schools you could imagine. I sent my kids to this school. There were fights daily, kids lighting the school on fire repeatedly, and rude and offense staff and administrators. I had my two children withdrawn after learning of the criminal like activity taking place at this school. Also, there are a lot of drugs on this campus according to my children. Kids are even bringing weapons to school and nothing happens to the kids. I learned of so many kids who broke laws repeatedly and received in school suspension for two days. Afterwards, the kids would continue to do bad things. Very little learning goes on. Most of the time, the teachers are screaming and yelling at out of control students. My kids told me their teachers would use profanity at children trying to get them to control their behavior. I work 2-3 jobs so my kids can go to a better school in a better school district. South San ISD is without a doubt, the WORST school district in Texas and maybe the country. Money is constantly going missing, the school board and superintendent fight non-stop. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!
If you want to get mad every second you'll LOVE this place. Especially the teachers they constantly yell at us and its so annoying.When you get to lunch you have to wait in line for five minutes and wait in another LINE in the cafitera and the administraitors dont tell you were to go and they get mad at you.If you want to send your kids here think twice.Another dumb thing is what they did to my friend the put her in the filles as a bully for no reason whatsoever and the principal Hernandez made fun of her saying that she got hit in the head and was stupid and was making faces at her.Also they had a head advisor and a police officer stalking her down the hallways i was so upset to see that.No wonder this place has had bad stuff said about it when i was in elementary school.I'm disappointed with the people that took over that school and ruined it.One more thing that those horrific people did is always yell at the children.This blonde lady yelled at a student saying "Get your spoon!" and that lady yelled at me and my two friends saying "you're holding up the line!" when nobody else was standing up I was so mad and was furious for the rest of the day because of that lady that gets her satisfaction by yelling at students that do nothing wrong and it fills her ego.
