The comfortable feeling that you had when you visited Jim's as a teenager for a Sundae after the Friday night football game is still alive and well. The surroundings have been modernized a bit , but it still looks like the same set up of booths, tables and stools at the counter that you remember. The food is pedestrian and comes from the idea that this is a family restaurant and the food should be affordable and familiar, and it is. There are lunch specials during the week, but my favorite still remains the char-broiled Frontier burger. It's familiar smokey flavor of a double patty with cheese is a taste that makes this sandwich one you will remember and crave again. The Friday fried fish special is homey and good and worth a trip as well.
Several convenient businesses here. We especially love Pam's Patio Kitchen.
