Had a great night bowling with our group! Food was delicious and the servers/staff were friendly and on top of everything!
Did a phenomenal job accommodating our large group (45) of college kids. Service was EXCELLENT, food was delicious, and the bowling and atmosphere were second to none. Would highly recommend this place for group events/parties or just casual evenings/date nights. We will definitely visit again.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! I was in a group of 6 and on the 10th frame, I was the last person to bowl, they shut the game off and didn't let me finish my turn!! I was about to complete at 200 point game!! MY PERSONAL RECORD!! This is crappy business. FIRST, we had a lane that had technical issues and took them 1 hour to finally move us to a different lane. Then they had the audacity to ask if we wanted to extend our time at our regularly scheduled end time. I told the lady that it wasn't right that the lane we originally had broke down and she said "oh yeah that's right" AND THEN they only gave us an additional 25 minutes! Terrible customer service! They don't care about the people!! If I could give this zero stars then I definitely would!
Came to San Antonio for a weekend trip, and bowling is always fun. I decided to check out this place (Bowl & Barrel) with some friends. I've bnever been to this place and it was an awesome environment but there was servers and I thought it was just for vip because there was a couple partied when I got here and just ordered at the bar. I went to double check to see if we can get a server turns out they we were supposed to have one and immediately someone came to service and helped us and management apologized for the mistake. I did let them know I didn't want to come off as rude hut I was genuinely just asking due to it being my first time here and he apologized and make the night an even better time. I will definitely be coming back.if anyone comes here ask for David as a server ad you won't be disappointed.
Worst place to have a children's party. The service is awful. The managers are disrespectful. Not enough servers based on the numbers of guest. They do not attend to your guest due to the lack of individuals assigned to the party. Margaritas and lemonade pitchers not labeled for kids not to get confused. They have a buffet style type of serving for the children but they don't serve the kids. Constantly out of plates and utensils. They do not pick up dirty glasses and plates during the party. It was a complete mess. They charge a service and fee and a tip up front without giving the service that is expected. If you have a party there for a child you will regret it. I have Thrown dozens of parties and never had such an ugly and frustrated experience. I feel bad for the owner because his employees don't represent the venue nor the location it deserves. I was embarrassed for my guests plus I paid a fortune. This venue is not for kids don't waste your money.
