After completing the job, they did a free inspection of the houses electrical systems, and found that there were some dangerous circuits in a panel outside that really needed to be replaced as well. Again we were quoted a very reasonable price, and offered a senior and Veteran discount on top of that. Over all, we couldn't be more pleased with the terrific service and we would highly recommend them. We will be using Mister Sparky for all of our electrical needs in the future.
The company has a good business system and process and great quality electricians. They are very thorough with verifying QUALITY employees and technicians and all their work comes with hefty guarantees! They are professionals through and through. I will be using them again because financially they are going to be my only attainable option for a large amount of work I need done on my house.
I decided to give Mister Sparky a try after viewing their commercials several times on TV. I’m in the process of selling an investment property. I’m a Commercial painting contractor, so I’m painting the home and fixing a few other items. I was having two electrical issues with the home, all the exterior plugs were not working and one of the bedroom closet light would not turn on. When the technician arrived he explained the fee’s up front, they charge per the job, not the hour. The fee is $ 328.00 per circuit or issue and however long the repair takes. I had two circuit failures. He explained if the problem fixed both issues, it would only be one $ 328.00 charge, or if the second issue didn’t take too long and was minor, they would charge a lesser diagnostic fee. I agreed to the diagnosis charge of $ 656.00, I didn’t have time to diagnose myself and I’m not too keen on working with electrical panels. The technician completed the entire job in 1 hour and 42 minutes. The outside circuit took him 1 hour and 20 minutes, found loose wires at all plugs and the second circuit took him about 20 minutes, found a bad plug and loose wires on others. I’m satisfied with the repairs, everything is working and they offer a 3 year warranty on repairs. I’m giving 3 Stars, because their fee is too high. As I stated, I’m a Commercial paint contractor and I don’t charge $ 656.00 for two hours. I charge a daily rate. I would not use this company for my personal home or again for the reason, these charges are not to retain customers for future issues, but rather to collect and move on to another customer willing to pay this amount. Again, great technician, great repairs, just my opinion, fees are too high. In this instance, I took my Fathers opinion and I had to bite the bullet for this repair. I hope this review helps for anyone using this company for a personal home use.
Big George was excellent! He went over all the options the cost associated with each and reasons why. He also answered all of my technical questions with patience and precision. Very professional interaction and friendly as well! Mr. Sparky and George will be welcome to do all our electrical repairs/needs in the future! I recommend them to you!
The Two repairmen showed up on time. Both were clean, friendly, and professional. After assessing the situation, they found that we needed an additional dedicated appliance outlet in our garage. They quoted a very reasonable price, which we agreed on, and then quickly got to work. our old garage was filled with 25 years worth of clutter, so the two gentlemen cleared a path themselves and moved several heavy and large pieces of furniture so that they could get to the circuit board and electrical outlets.
NOTE: They have a monthly program which I am likely going to take part in for the first year to see how this major electrical work goes. You can't really put a cheap price on code compliant, insurance -covered work , if ever there is an electrical "accident" .

Pricing Caution: They have 3 tiers of pricing and do not tell you what is wrong exactly with your electrical system until you agree to paying one of the agreed prices. If the issue ends up being a simple quick fix (that the average person- non-electrician would not know) that would potentially be much cheaper than what you agreed to, you may be VERY disappointed. HOWEVER, if the issue results in being a larger fix, you will be glad you agreed to the fee because you saved in the hourly rate of another electric company. In my situation, I was very please and grateful for their customer service excellence.
