had my first phone meeting with this lawyer he didn't call until day after will not HIRE this lawyer to get my husband home, VERY BAD first impression went with another lawyer.
If I could rate 0 I would!!! This is the worst parole lawyer I have ever encountered. My husband and I paid this lawyer to visit my father a year ago. 6 months go by before he goes to visit my dad and dident even get a full visit. Stouwie was there for 20 minutes and promised my dad he would be back at the end of July to finsh the visit and he NEVER DID !!! Now my father is being under review and it's too late for him to get another lawyer.! We feel cheated and has been a big waste of time!!! Please don't waste your time or money on Kevin!!!
I wanted to hire Kevin because my sister used him and said he was good. Well guess that was my first mistake. I paid the 300 to have him go visit my father in law to see if we wanted to hire him. We were told Kevin would go visit within 90 days. Well then we were told it is 90 days from when my father in law returned some paperwork to kevin. Well 120 days later Kevin shows up for a 20 min visit only to be cut short be cause something happened at the prison. No risk of injury for Kevin. Guess he didn't want stay longer. He told my father in law he would return in 30 days. Well now it's been another 60 days and no Kevin. We started the process 12 months before my father in laws 1st review so we could have time to pay Kevin. Here we are under review already and no Kevin to be found. I wouldn't recommend Kevin. He seems too busy and the 300 is non refundable so he doesn't care. As long as he gets that then he has won. We feel cheated and a big waste of time. Don't waste your time and find someone else. You've been warned.
I was referred to Kevin and he did everything he could to help my loved one come home soon. He is a very busy man but gets the job done. Thank you for bringing my family back together Kevin! Many Blessings.
I had high hopes when first hiring this attorney. After paying the initial cost he went and visited my husband. He seemed to really listen and seemed to care. That's when it all goes downhill. I paid the $2500. I sent in all the letters and pics for the parole packet. My husbands 2nd parole and 1st short way was last June 2016. The board voted without ever contacting the attorney !!! I was very upset. They did a second vote due to the mess up, but still denied him. Then this year he came up for 2nd short way... I called to make sure they were going to contact me before the vote. I heard nothing ! Then this morning I looked on line and praise god ! He is approved. Still no word from Attorney. I am so disappointed that I spent the $2500. Please don't waste your money ! Poor communications!
