The movie was an action and lots of explosions and gunshots throughout so we got a good idea of the sound and it was way off in the theatre. Instead of balanced sound it seemed they just turned it to full blast and no bass. I have a hearing problem and it hurt my ears and the people sitting next to us left 5 min. into the movie saying it was too loud.

The service in the theatre was crap. We waited for the waiter to take our order but he just walked by taking the orders of those on both sides and behind us yet never said a word to us. We sat the entire movie wanting to eat and he never said a word to us and seemed very un-enthusiastic to be there to begin with. All in all we will not be going back and would rather drive the extra couple miles to the alamo draft house for a much better experience.

We went to see a movie on New years eve. A girl sitting next to us had her bare feet up on the table. The waitress had told her to put them down. She did, but she would put them back as soon as the waitress left. We told the waitress about it, and she said that she would take care of it. When she brought us our order, the girl had her feet on the table. The waitress saw it, but didn't do anything about it. The girl was also talking throughout the movie.

I'll give it 2 stars because in the end we did see the movie and the guy at the counter was nice. But that's as far as the good goes.

We stumbled upon this gem on Valentine's Day, of all days. We felt like catching a midday movie and they were the closest theater around. Unfortunately their registers were down. However, they didn't cancel any movie showings. Instead, they apologized for the wait as they quickly jotted down how many tickets to which movies people came to see, as well as any drinks or snacks people got from the concession stand (we got a bottle of water). They were able to take cash, but not credit cards at the moment, but they didn't turn it into an issue. They simply told us to go ahead so we don't miss our movie, and to check back with them after the show, when hopefully their registers would be functioning again. So we went in, chose our seats, received our food menus though we didn't order anything, and watched "John Wick: Chapter 2" (which was an unbelievable but nonstop fun action movie), and came back out to pay. But they wouldn't hear of it, and just said not to worry, it was on the house, have a nice day! We were shocked. This was one of the nicest things that's ever happened to me on Valentine's Day, and it wasn't even from my date! I'm really glad we found this theater. Such great customer service! You could really feel they didn't want to turn their problem into the customer's problem, and that they really valued their customers. We're definitely coming back, hopefully on a day we can actually pay!

The seat rows are way too close together with very little difference in elevation, so if even an average height person is sitting in front of you, a large portion of the screen can be blocked by their head. Some seats have a table in front of them, while others don't, but every seat is priced the same and there's nothing letting you know ahead of time if you get a table or not unless you know the theater. And with the understandably overpriced menu items, it was just a subpar moviegoing experience in a time when other brands are really stepping up their game, like Alamo Drafthouse. We spoke with a manager and he helped us pick out better seats, otherwise we probably would've just left. Maybe I've been spoiled by better theaters, but we should've just gone to drafthouse in the first place.

GOD BLESS SANTIKOS. I grew up at this theater. I miss the "Galaxy" name. I wish it was still the Galaxy. But it is definitely much improved...minus the old globe lights in the theater...I miss those too.
