It is family oriented. I enjoy going and just sitting. They have water and a port a potty. Very clean. I go here to get out of my apt.
the (bike) ride to the north is a nicer ride. Starts a little 'hinky' under the highway bridge then through a little commercial area, it's worth it. There's about a mile of 'plank' trail through a cool wet land area (black bellied whistling ducks, egrets, etc). Subsequently you ride beneath a flight pattern for the airport (actually kinda cool). But the ride is relatively flat and nice. South seemed a little busier to me (more walkers) and was more dramatic ups and downs. I just liked the North for better
