Before we had time to park and get our bags out, Lopez was there waiting. Very polite and courteous, great experience. Thank You!
Very disappointing. They claim that you will be picked up at your car. I waited 10 minutes outside next to my car but nothing happened. Since the shuttle driver kept ignoring me, I walked to the shuttle. Driver definitely saw me standing next to the shuttle, and then left. Do not wait for them, go down to the office and expect to wait at least 25minutes until you will be picked up.
Always a problem of some sort when I go... last time the car only had one USB port and it wasn't functional. Exchanged for a different vehicle that had the "engine light" on the whole time, budget said the car was fine.... I was in a hurry so I left. The car was fine other than that. The employees in the garage could be higher caliber; just a little creepy/stalkish and I could smell the weed and alcohol on their breath about 10-15ft. away.
I cannot say enough terrible things about my experience with this location. My flight was delayed by two over hours. While I waited in Houston I tried every 210 number I could find on any of the Budget websites or related airport parking sites. None got me in touch with a person, the best I could do was leave a voicemail. I also tried to get in touch with the Budget kiosk in the Hobby airport. I explained I was concerned I would not be able to get my car and they said they had never heard of a location closing (i.e., there should be a automated ticket pay station to exit). I retrieved my luggage around 1 o'clock in the morning. I ubered over to the lot (understanding there were not shuttles running). Budget parked their vans in front of all of the exits and rocks in front of the curb completely blocked any exit. No one could be found working. Since I do not actually live in San Antonio but a neighboring town, a friend fortunately came to pick me up at 1:30 in the airport and take me home. I was left car-less to get to work the next morning. Thankfully a coworker took me to pick my car up. My experience with their reservations manager was unbelievably unprofessional and quite frankly, rude. She expressed no compassion or empathy at all for the experience I had. Instead she repeated, "Our business hours are from 5:30 to 12:30." When I asked why the Houston Budget stated there should be an automated pay station like every other business in town, she said they were not associated with the Houston Budget and their "business hours are from 5:30 to 12:30." I asked if she knew how unconscionable it was to deprive people of their rights to their own vehicles. Jessica responded that if I didn't like it I didn't have to park there. I was charged the full amount, "for every day [I] was parked" including the extra day. Assuredly, I never will use this company again and I will encourage you to not as well. When your airfare is completely out of your control, do not put yourself in a stranded position when a corporation doesn't care.
I reserved online and they charged me $11 in advance, but at the pick up of my car, the @#%π# guy that was there, said he could not deduct the advance payment. So the deal it's not such a deal. It's a steal!!
