2. They provide you with a flashlight, ours died almost immediately. They don't come in and offer help until the 10 minute mark; then waited 10 more to get it replaced (time that ticked off of our clock that we were not given back)
Their LaserTag stuff might be cool but their Escape Room is a waste of time and money.
I would love to send some praise for the "Quest for Technology" field trip my technology club took this past year. It was amazing. It was reasonably priced and the kids LOVED IT! They learned a lot and had a great time. I highly recommend it for science field trips.
2.9 stars for laser quest...10+ stars for your star employee Soraya! After Laser Quest made a mistake of booking our birthday party at the wrong location...(so weird because EMBASSY OAKS doesn't sound remotely like Ingram Park even on the phone) To your credit your employee Soraya made the best of a bad situation. THANK YOU VERY MUCH SORAYA!
The staff do not care if your your equipment is working or not before they start the game. They start the games even if your equipment is faulty or is not working. I spent a good 3 minutes suiting up 2 of my kids after they started the game, then one of my nephew's vests was broken and took another 3 minutes to get everything thing straighten out. All the while the game was going on.
There are so many steps you have to complete in the 45 minute timeframe as is. Not having the info, having to wait on them to open locks that are broken, etc really just left is feeling cheated out of $50
1. Not all information is in the room to solve all the clues. If you don't know the locations depicted on the post cards, there is nothing to tell you what/where they are. (1 in particular was not a well known place)
3. One of the keys was broken. The first staff member said it was a known problem before we even started yet we weren't told that. Then it took three different staff members more than 10 minutes to get the lock open (time we were not given back). All in all it wasted at least 15 minutes of our time. (You only get 45 mins)
360 No-scopped them kids, had bookoos fun even as a adult. Will return soon!!
4. They have a sheet showing how to operate the locks in the room. This was a definitive plus until the one lock not shown on their sheet has an abnormal means of operating that most people wouldn't know unless shown. We had the correct code for it but couldn't get it open.
Very glad this was not the first escape room we've tried. We haven't beat an escape room yet but this was the first one we didn't even have fun attempting. This one is very poorly put together and left us feeling aggravated and pissed that we didn't get further along because things didn't work or things needed weren't provided.
