Thankful for this company! They came along while I was coming out of a bad property management situation. I was alone dealing with switching companies while my husband was deployed in Afghanistan. Marty was always available and super helpful!
I wish I saw these reviews before I signed up with this company. The reviews are correct, big disappointment. I did everything myself to get a potential client in my loft. The staff was nothing but rude to my client. It's like pulling teeth to get information. One excuse after another. My client went to the office to get his deposit back and Bill, the owner, refused to come out of his office to speak with him. I am so glad I am done with them. Big waste of my time. I should have rented my loft by myself from the very beginning.
What to say about Delaney. Well, first i have to say do not ever do buisness or give them any of your hard earned money. We rented from them for 2 years. It took them 7 months to get the house move in ready after we moved in. There are some things that still aren't fixed. The staff is so unbelievable rude. Every time i would call, they sounded like the hated their lives. The book keeper was arguing with me when i went to turn in my 30 day notice of no longer renting the property. Also, come to find out this house has roaches living in the walls and has a extremely high mold level in the air. We have brought this issue to their attention about the mold multiple of times and no response. I've even emailed the owner Bill twice and still no response. We hired a mold specialist to check out the house, and surprise, there is extremely high mold levels in the air. The AC unit is FULL of mold, the master bathroom has mold on the outside of the house and inside of the walls. Keep in mind, we are clean people and have kept this house together. We paid all of our rent on time and every fee they have charged. The maintence lady wouldn't respond for almost 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure she got tired of me. After reading all the other reviews, I'm guessing I won't get my security deposit back either. This house is in better condition than it was when we moved it. They give you this piece of paper with all these charges they will charge you if the house is not cleaned when you leave the property. On this list, none of these were done when we moved in. For example, the smoke detectors didn't even have batteries when we moved into the home. If you want a list of things that weren't done, please contact me directly and i can share. I know for sure if i ever needed a property management to help assist with a house i own, it sure as hell would never be Delaney. My house wouldn't be worth a penny after they were done. I wish i had the real owners of this house information to let them know the conditions of this house. Never again will i go through Delaney. Save yourself some stress and money and chose another property management.
I rented a property managed by DeLaney for two years and, after becoming a homeowner of a different property, have had them managing my property for the past seven years. I've never had an issue with them. They've kept my investment leased constantly for the past seven years, with never more than a week or so between tenants. They've notified me as soon as possible of required work on the property and made sure I received the best price I could get on repairs while watching out for the tenants well being - ensuring they had minimal inconvenience. For a relationship like this to work, however, the homeowner has to be willing to make required repairs, keep the home in good condition and act quickly when something needs to be repaired. I want to protect my investment and not take advantage of tenants, DeLaney makes it easy to do both. I'm sure when the decision comes to either sell the home or move back in, there will be no issues because of the great job DeLaney's been doing with my property.
I also should have read the reviews before doing business with this "company". The owner, Bill, won't even return a phone call. I can't seem to get any response from most people there. Lisa and Geremy are the only 2 that will actually respond to you and in a timely manner. The others you have to hunt down and repeatedly call/email.
