Great experience with these guys. They put customer service ahead of personal profits. Suggested I should check on an potential outstanding OEM recall related to cars current problem, before spending $ on other parts / labor. I did so and sure enough the vin number has the open recall. Best customer service I've found in auto repair business for a long long time!
Update: BMW recall confirmed 3 out of 4 intake camshaft VANOS bolts were broken off and dropped down into the oil pan. Once again...highly recomend Bavarian Auto Repair for honesty and customer service.
Great prices, great work, really fast service even when they are super busy. We take our mini here for all it's services here and have never had anything but the most pleasant experiences. Once we brought the car in to have it checked out, and there was a very serious problem. Since they are not as comfortable with minis as they are with BMWs, they referred us to another shop, and even paid for the towing themselves since they couldn't do the work there. They went above and beyond and ended up saving me about $3500 by sending it to a shop that was able to save the engine. If you want to pay less and have a better experience than at any dealership then you should bring your car here.
I would not recommend nor ever go back to this place again. I took my vehicle to get diagnosed because my engine light came on and they charged me $110. Then they proceeded on giving me a quote of over $1800.00 for labor and parts, just in labor over $1000. So I purchased parts from them and changed them myself at home. But when I returned to purchase other parts there mechanic Jason told me that the part that needed to be changed was going to be a problem for me due to the whole front end needed to be removed to have it changed. Well I went home and did a bit of research and found out that the part is on top and the front end DID NOT need to be removed. So I decided to get a second opinion from a different mechanic, because I felt like I was being lied to. So no charge to diagnose the issue and got my car fixed under $200. I rarely review places but after this dilemma I kinda had to. I just don't want this to happen anyone else. I have attached the statement from Bavarian and from the shop I did get it fixed so you can judge for yourself. The numbers don't lie.
Oh then I received a phone call from the mechanic Jason stating there is something still wrong with my vehicle and that he would refund $110 for diagnosing my vehicle but ONLY if I removed my above statement. WAIT WHAT? What type of business... Needless to say I will not get my money back because I will not take my review down.
Awesome service! Would never go anywhere else, they know what they are doing and do it quickly and well.
My 428i, was under warranty, but the dealer did everything in their power to not do the repairs they should have done. After weeks of back and forth I decided to find a reputable shop and have the work done myself. I took it Bavarian Auto and even asked about a few other problems. I expected a very large bill, but I got a true picture of everything that was wrong and a great price! They were fast and friendly and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't really need. I highly recommend Bavarian to anyone looking for dealer quality work without the dealer hassles. Great job guys!
