They were just planning on pushing me hard to leave as the issue got escalated.

I was at target yesterday thanksgiving evening and waited for close to 2 hrs to buy a phone with AT&T on a 1+1 offer and the target guys took a wait list and asked us to come back when they text us.

I've had no problems shopping here. They are well stocked and the employees are
I just argued i was showing up in the list and why they didn’t remove me or intimate that i am removed from waiting list if i wasn’t there. I was under the impression that i am still on the waitlist waiting for my turn. It took me to wait another 2 hrs finally to get my turn after several interventions by the store manager talking with the tech vendor.
Nothing special about this location, it's just another target. It's located in a good location and the staff are generally always friendly and willing to help with great customer service. Good location just off of Bandera with plenty of other shopping stores around.
They texted today at 5:53 AM asking to come and they can wait only 15 mins. I kept checking the waitlist position and when i was second in the waitlist i went to the mobile area. Mobiles weren’t sold by Target directly. They use another vendor for that. They said i have to stand in line again as they informed in the morning and i didn’t come within 15 mins.
Sorry for a big story and review but had to explain the whole thing.
Finally when my turn came, those vendor guys took it hard on me and gave junk reasons to ensure that i get hard time in getting the deal i was looking for. Even though i am an authorized user to get upgrade and i am eligible for upgrade, they didn’t let me saying i have to be the owner of the account. When i said, open a fresh account, they said i can get new phone but i cant get an upgrade and account owner has to be available. I asked for ownership transfer and they said they cannot wait until i finish that with AT&T and i have to stand in the line where it starts and push me back further to make me stand in line again.
Nice place, friendly stuff, but always cold. Why?

THIS TARGET AND THE VENDORS THEY USE FOR MOBILE DEVICES HAVE NO RESPECT FOR INDIVIDUAL, THEIR TIME AND ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER FIRST ATTITUDE.
We just visited this location and I will definitely go out of my way not to return here after my experience. I had my baby with me and ran out of wipes so my sister opened the box that I had in my cart to buy and it was made clear to the fitting room attendant (twice) watching her that we had an emergency and are already buying the wipes. She tried to fake nice and small talk but when we came out of the fitting room she had another employee, waiting to escort us, that she called there and she said we needed to go up to the front right then and pay for the wipes before we could continue shopping. I said I wasn't go by to check out twice so I had to just leave. The employee walked up to the register with the wipes as we voiced our disappointment on the situation and she just said well it's policy. We requested to speak to the manager at the register and explained how upsetting it was to be treated as if we were stealing and he agreed they didn't handle it the right way and he would talk to them. While it was nice he agreed, it doesn't change how it affected us.
After store manager intervention, MOBILE VENDOR agreed to take me next after current customer is done. When the customer is done, he acted as if he forgot me and called the next customer in line. I agreed graciously as i didn’t want to make the other person feel bad.
Before this, another employee had been helpful and friendly looking for clothes, but the pro of one nice employee doesn't outweigh the awful experience at this store.

They weren’t ready for the account owner to show up. I was ready to give my spot to someone and meanwhile my friend who is the account owner to come to target and this would have taken 10 mins. Any new line or upgrade has been taking more than 30 mins anyway.
