Its taking it's time, window 2 is without a customer but chatting with window 5. Remember to bring your money on a money order. If you're divorced remember to bring your kid's father/mother written permission to get your kid's a passport. As of for me I'm just waiting for my turn.
Very streamlined process to apply for first-time passport and have photo taken. They are efficient, very professional, and friendly. I have never had quite this kind of great customer service from a City Office. If you come prepared, you will be out of there in a reasonable amount of time. Took me less than 50 minutes without an appointment.
Easy process. Plenty of workers on hand and everything moved smoothly and quickly. Impressed. Less than hour wait with no appointment needed.
I am so grateful to meet people like Rebekah Jamison , passport division manager, she does her work beyond than I expected, we need more people like her working in all divisions , is the first time that someone helps me like she did in any other city office , I always read people complaining about a bad service but we should say thanks when someone does an excellent service and she did it . So thank you Rebekah for all your support.
Better than the post office nonsense. Staff were polite and efficient. Be aware that the city charges a hefty $25 per person fee to accept a passport application, however. So for me to get my renewal passport and my infant daughter to get her first one, I wound up writing a $190 check to the Department of State and then a second $50 check to the City of San Antonio. Yikes.
