If you're a fan of history, military, medicine, or any combination this is an awesome find. It's free to get in, and the folks that work there have an outstanding knowledge of what's there. They provided my wife and I with answers to all of our questions and added valuable insights.
Unexpectedly great museum! Lots of different exhibits featuring everything you want to know about Fort Sam Houston's medical background starting with revolutionary war to the present. Don't forget to head out back and check out the authentic army medical train, jeeps, and helicopters!!
