Nice little museum. Friendly staff. Very informative plus close to my hotel which is a walking distance.
Great exhibit and history of SA fire. With our 2 firefighters touring the museum, they really liked the comprehensive amount of equipment shown and the history. They had 2 nicely refurbished fire trucks on display as well! Great for kids! We had a blast taking pictures with the cutouts in the back room! Very friendly staff!
Great place, especially for kids. Passionate staff/volunteers. They have historically significant fire engines and a new area added on that is now kid friendly. The kid friendly area is set up for birthday parties, there's an ambulance and a fire truck that there kids can run around on too. The parking is tricky. If you go down the street to the Bonham you'll find the best deal.
Hidden gem. Underrated. Kids love it. Reitrd firefighters run this place and they are amazing. They get kids involved in activities.
Thank you, for each of you are a gift.
This museum is amazing. The day we went it was manned by 2 wonderful & knowledgeable retired firemen. It's got different areas set up for adult and even kid learning. They have put so much time and work into it..it's just amazing what these people who donate their lives to protect others are now doing for the community. Visit this museum. Pay your respects and honor these silent heros.
