Went to pay traffic cam ticket. The officer was polite and easy to talk to.
I paid my tickets months ago! I go to renew my license and am told I still have a hold on it. After waiting at the DMV twice forever!!!!!!! I call the court and they say I'm cleared ( which I still have the receipt for my payment) and that they will resubmit. I cannot that should have been done when I paid the stupid ticket at the court office MONTHS ago. Now you want to sit there and submit that's I've paid the ticket after waiting at the DMV for hours and getting turned away bc of them!!!!!!!!!!!! I love how late they are with cleaning my license but how quick they are to send out warrants for arrest to collect their money!!!!
Hands up. Don't shoot.
Camera county... these officers have no presence.. just have red light cameras everywhere. It's theft.
My only grievance would be how quick they are to issue traffic tickets and the red-light cameras, but that's an issue people should be taking up with the Balcones Heights City Council rather than the police department. (BH has been known as a speed trap for decades, so it's mainly a city policy.)
Like most small-town cops, the BHPD officers have a low BS tolerance. But if you're civil to them and don't give them attitude, they're quite friendly and responsive for the most part. I've dealt with them on several occasions and never had a bad experience. They're quick to respond to calls, which is a nice change from living in a bigger city like SA where it can take forever for a cop to show up.
TWO cops felt the need to stop and question me on the sidewalk. Mind you, one of them actually had his hand near his holster. Trigger happy much?
I was profiled as I was walking home from the gym. It was a nice weekday morning, my only crime was NOT being old and white like the rest of the chismosos that live in this "city".
