The decor of the building brings the past into the future. It couldn't have been a more pleasant day. A certain must to stop by there.

I've been to southerleigh a few times, one of my favorite spots in Pearl. Food, drinks and atmosphere are always excellent.
Today was the first time I brought my dog and my toddler. I was so pleasantly surprised with the added touches for them. The dog got a water bowl and ear scratches. The toddler got to make her own pretzel and there is a kid friendly menu that still is cooked with high quality ingredients and technique.
We had a wonderful brunch on Sunday. Sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the food and the weather. The staff was excellent and very helpful.
I went here with a couple of folks on a Sunday for brunch and I had the Texas Gulf Crab & Avocado omelet, my fiance had the Loncilo's ham and our friend had the waffle. The omelet was huge, moist and yummy. The cubed potatoes were crunchy and fried very well (they used yummy oil) I would recommend this dish! The ham was good however the waffle was just ok! The portions were huge so I guess that justifies the cost of this place and the location is great especially if you go here on a Sunday so you can walk around outside for the farmer's market. We shared an order of cinnamon roll which comes in two huge rolls and it was yummy. Our waiter was tentative and the order came our timely. Once you're done with this place, exit through the restroom end of the restaurant and you'll see the well-decorated rustic look of Hotel Emma!
WOW! Just WOW. It’s like all the good and friendly people stopped what they were doing and got a job working here. But they’re not working here...they’re living and loving LIFE here. Sounds weird doesn’t it. Believe me...it sounds weird to write. But you absolutely must come here for a beer and the “Belone” shrimp (like a creol shrimp boil). The setting is like something you’d imagine in France or Italy...but far “cleaner”. It’s the perfect blend of old and new furniture and decor, making for an atmosphere of fun and happiness. Phillip (the GM/host) and Steve (cook) absolutely made this meal into an experience! Thank you Phillip. We will forever remember this evening because of you and the amazing restaurant you have created!
Excellent place for a good bite to eat. The burger was perfectly seasoned and juicy without being greasy. The fries were delicious and tasted freshly cut.
