I tried The Station for the first time about a year ago. This place has what I would say is in the top 3 best roast beef sandwiches I've ever had.
Ive also tried some of the soup of the days, and the pasta salad at least 3 times.
Visiting from San Diego and stopped in for a quick bite. San Antonio known for the best Tex-Mex food that's a given. But this place is memorable. Best beef sandwich. Dessert awesome. Staff just charming. Yes on my list of places to go when I come back in town.
Get there early, cause the line forms fast. Thankfully, it moves along just as quickly.
Food was good, fast, friendly service. Watch out when you exit there is an abrupt step off to the pavement.
Soft drinks are free refill. Wait time to order is usually less than 3 minutes, and about 10 min to get your order.

The restaurant is a bit small, with seating for about 30 people. Really a deli style street side restaurant like what you would expect to find in downtown New York.
Their signature sandwich (Chupacabra) is very tasty...served warm, I highly recommend!!! Pasta was a little bland, I'll try another side next time.
I highly recommend giving this place a try. I can't comment on oyher menu items because I'm addicted to the Roast Beef..
The sandwich comes with a garlic mayo sauce, lettuce and slice of cheese. The flavors on this sandwich are great. Let me tell you I'm not a sandwich person but I've returned 4 times now to specifically order this item. Ive also ordered sides of habanero and ghost chili mayo to add to it for spice, but I prefer the garlic.
