Beautiful theatre. Had a great time at the Our Lady Peace show. Sound and view was excellent. Drinks are pricey - a small bottle of water was $4. Caution: don't waste your money on the parking at Rand garage or the Warrior room either! Rand parking garage is $12 maximum while the Aztek charges you $15. There was plenty of space there so need to purchase in advance. The Warrior room $15 charge gets you into the theatre an hour before doors open and onto the floor or seats before everyone else standing in line outside. If you don't plan to arrive before the doors open and stand for an hour in place on the floor, don't waste your money buying it. In spite of what the box office might say, there is no other benefit. Just a waste of money. Otherwise, enjoy the show.
Venue is nicely designed and sound is great. Very hard for physically impaired people to get to assigned seating. Each time we've gone, the elevator is limited to second floor when assigned seating is on the third. Place has steep stairs without hand rails in the balcony. Arm rests, and several seats, were completely broken and not marked.
Great little venue to catch your favorite band. Good sound system. The booking person is doing a really good job with the bands they have playing here. Only complaints are the high beer prices and how they crowd everyone into the GA lower floor area without checking tickets.
Great bands. Cool ambiance & decor. Parking pretty convenient too. But drink prices are ridiculous. Too much $$ to get a table reserved, over standing in the “pit”. That’s what it felt like, a pit. The sound quality was lacking. And the air conditioning was nonexistent. It’s Texas in the spring/summer. You HAVE to blast the AC. I had 1 drink and got sick after an hour or so, because there was no air movement in the pit. Not much anywhere else either. At least the ladies room was spacious, cool, & clean. A nice bartender took pity and gave me a bottle of water to cool off. I won’t be back unless it’s wintertime and I have a drink ticket or two.
Ambience is nice, talent was great, but they stuck us in these little chairs on the floor. Packed as tight as they could get them. Luckily the person that was supposed to sit next to me did not show. Otherwise it would have been a high 4 or even 5 stars.
