Can't say much about the gift shop, but the train ride is a great experience for the whole family. The kids will love it, and the adults will love resting a little bit especially if you wait until after you visit the zoo. Great way to unwind a little.
The train is great fun for the whole family. My two year old daughter has been a huge fan of the train for nearly all of her life!
