We bought an 06 Dodge Ram here last week. They wouldn't put new front tires on it even thou the ones it had are bald. So selling an unsafe vechile to an active duty member should've been our first flag. We purchase the truck anyways, after one day of driving it it felt like it has death wobble. Apparently this shop has never heard of death wobble. They don't seem to know anything about their vehicles. Then Friday the fuel pump goes out. We call the shop to get them to fix it and they give us the run around for a few hours then finally tell us we can bring it and the mechanic will fix it that day for $200. We already had a shop owner tell us he could fix it that day but decided to go with carz of Texas.
We get it towed Saturday to carz of Texas and don't hear back after four hours. Finally Edward (who sold us the vehicle) tells us the mechanic left. NEVER intended to call us. Then Edward promised us tmmrw (Sunday) the truck would be fixed by 3 or 4. So we show up at 3:30 and the shop is closed. Nobody is answering the phone. It's lightening and our truck is sitting outside with the back window OPEN and it's raining in our truck on our cloth seats. To say I'm livid is an understatement. My fiancé is active military and obviously we rely on having a vehicle. Now we are dealing with this hassle getting no call backs and now we don't even have our truck to take it somewhere else!!! The lack of communication and professionalism is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. We are now in the process of opening a lawsuit. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!! We learned the hard way!
When you go to Carz of Texas expected to be treated like family. I arrived at Carz knowing that it was going to be difficult to get a vehicle because of my past credit history. However, the crew at Carz spent days on end with me test driving vehicles and working on a plan to get me financing. They let me know that though my credit needed repair, it wasn't hopeless and they vowed to find an option that would suit me best. I appreciate all that they did for me (including feeding me during a Friday fish fry) and I'll never forget it. These folks bend over backwards to get you what you want and the customer service from the owner and staff is bar none. This is one of the best car shopping experiences that I've had and I recommend Carz of Texas highly! If you need a car go see for yourself what they can do for you. I guarantee that whether you buy a car or not you will be impressed with the service and selection.
Claims to be # 1 in customer. Then, why had their whole car inventory been "walked" before any salesperson greeted us. Further, could only view the vehicles from the outside and windows (vehicle doors were locked) until we asked about a specific vehicle. Prices here are $$$....
I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW IT'S A FIVE STAR .... WE HAVE BEEN BACK AND FORTH TAKING OUR CAR BECAUSE IT'S HAS BEEN WITH MANY ISSUES AND THEY STILL CAN'T GET IT FIXED CORRECTLY. 4 MONTHS AND STILL DEALING WITH CAR ISSUES AND NO PROPER CARE OF THE ISSUES. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!!!
This place is the best!!! I called in the morning gave them all my info. So when i walked in i was already pre approved! Keep in mind i have no credit at all! Down payment was only $1,500 for me! Affordable car payments as well. Richard and Candy were so nice to me and my mom. They knew i was having hard time getting into a car with no cosigner. They had keys in hand ready for me to test drive! Whole paper work process was quick and easy! I will definitely refer this place to everyone that is looking for a car! Thank you guys!❤.
