Alamo Heights Car Care Center is VERY expensive. They overcharged us so much. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!! Spent over $300 when we should've only spent $100.
The troubleshooting skills of this garage seems sub-optimal. My daughter's 94 Accord had an intermittent hard start problem, and after a $450 fuel pump, and then a $250 'tune up', the car would not even start at the shop. Replacement of the fuel pump relay was then done at my suggestion, but that was another incorrect 'shot in the dark'. A partial refund was requested, but denied. The problem ended up being the engine computer, fixed by another shop.
I called around pricing the parts and labor... They were the least expensive and did not treat me like just another customer, they really wanted to get me back on the road. All smiles
Great customer service. The manager went out of his way twice to ensure I had transportation to and from work while they worked on my car. Even picked me up and brought me to the shop when they finished.
