I moved to San Antonio in 2014 and I found Cambridge online. I walked in they welcomed me and asked what they could do for me, I needed an oil change. They offered me water and asked if they could drive me home and I could wait at home till my car was finished. I was amazed at the service that they give. My car is washed and vacuumed along with an oil change. Tony along with the others have done a fantastic job. They inform me of future services that are needed on my car and help me budget it. I highly recommend this place.
The diagnostic fee was a little high - also they initiated a repair without my permission, so nlt really happy about that. Nonetheless, they fixed the issue. I can soundly recommend them.
I took my truck in for a post purchase inspection. The ladies at the front desk were wonderful and I got a lot of good information to take back to the dealership. Sadly, even though I was told by the dealership that I had 3000 miles left on the warranty, it ended up not being the case. I will be taking my truck back to Cambridge tomorrow and have them do the repairs. The added plus was they washed and vacuumed my truck.
I took a car in knowing that the engine had three cylinders failing to fire. I saw the good reviews here and figured I could trust the service here. When I turned the car over to them, I was told that there was a "diagnostic fee" which was fine with me, and they would call to tell me what's wrong. Days pass, and I hear nothing at all. I finally call and they tell me that they determined that there were some misfiring cylinders (which I already knew), and that info would cost me $100. They cost me 2.5 days and $100 to tell me what I already got from O'Reilly's in 15 minutes for FREE! Then they asked for an additional $400 to actually find out what's wrong with the car. I don't mind paying $100/hour for labor when we're working with a relationship of trust, but this is a sign of bad faith. I'm not even convinced they opened the car's hood in the "diagnostic". This could have been handled better. I took my car to a different mechanic and won't be back again.
My wife and I have been taking our cars to Cambridge for a over fifteen years. Great people, friendly, professional and honest. We have always followed their recommendations on maintenance which has resulted in our cars running great for years. I trust them completely and enjoy every visit.
