I have had trouble with my air in my truck for quite a while. This place was recommended by friends of mine near where this place was. From the moment I first walked in I was treated like family. I went back yesterday and my air is fixed. These people are so honest and very reasonable prices! It's like a mom and pop atmosphere. Very down to earth. Would HIGHLY recommend this place!
I do not recommend going to Hinsons for any automotive repairs unless you like bad service with a mechanic who is undecisive about his customers or their vehicles.
After paying over $500 in parts Hinson decides he no longer wants to work on my car. He not only called me the B word and used profanity he threaten me with storage fees. His exact words were "I'm not workin on your car, I'm tired of seeing it here, I'm tired of bitches like you. Pay me for the work I have already done ($225) get it out of my shop today or I'm going to charge you $36 a day."
My car was raised up and had no rear brake system what so ever, nor did it have tires.
He would not take my credit card as a form of payment and said he did not want any documentation of my car ever being at his shop. I had to pull money out of an ATM or else he wouldn't bring my car down.
I don't know why he backed out on fixing my car. My thought is he probably didn't know how to work on that type of vehicle.
I would never take my car anywhere else. My husband and I have been coming here for years. This place gives you great quality service at extremely reasonable prices. The owners are very nice people.
At that point I was fed up and backed into a corner. I had no choice but to call a tow truck, and call the cops because Hinson refused to give me a receipt, or an explanation of charges.
Mr. David Hinson of Hinsons Automotive ensured me that my car would have new brake pads installed and ready to go within a day.
Hinsons fee was $225, tow truck was $150, and my car is now at another shop. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any business. I am a school teacher. I have worked with many different personalities and attitudes. Not once in my life have I ever been in a situation where I had to call the police for assistance. Not once did I give Hinson a hard time about my car nor did I ever rush him. He should have provided the parts instead of having me run all around town. I did not complain once because I trusted Hinson as a professional business owner and I thought he was making sure my brake system was good as new.

He had my car for a week. Sending me for multiple parts all around town. What started off as brake pads replacement ended with my car needing new rear rotors, new rear calipers, mounting kits and numerous bolts and screws.
Only reason why I gave one star was because that's the only way Google allows you to post reviews.
