Although it takes awhile at his office I realize that he is only one man and see about 70 patients a day if not more. so I know its going to take time. what people don't realize is that its a doctors office not a fast food place so it going to take time .people also need to understand he takes his time with every patient so they get a good understand about there injury. i would rather have a doctor take his time with me and let me know about my injury then to just rush .so if your looking for a doctor that loves what he does and wants the best for his patients and does amazing work then Doctor Mario Bustamante is for you ! My surgery was great he did an amazing job and cause of him I can serve my country!
I waited for 2 hours to see Dr. Bustamante. The X-Rays from Texas Med Clinic had not arrived, so they took new x-rays with their arciach equipment. At Tex-Med you could clearly see a break, with his equipment, there was nothing. When I pointed out where it was I was rudely told to sit down and was told that he did not see anything. He spent less than five minutes with me, and did not have time to anwere any of my questions or concerns.
They make you wait for 2 two hours in a cramp little waiting area. I understand first come first served but this was a scheduled appointment.
It's very true that at times the office wait time is terribly long & that at times it seems that the Good Dr. rushes through his appts. But the quality of the surgical work that he does, makes the 2 hr wait and the less than 10 minute appt. worth it. He did Bilateral total knee replacements on me on Dec. 12, 2013. Today 3 months after, I am walking well without the assistance of a cane or walker, I had no post op complications. The surgery took less than 2 hrs! Before surgery I went to him for several rounds of cortisone shots and he was always very candid that it was up to me, that I would know when I would be ready for surgery and if I wanted both or just one done. I am only 52 & I am hoping these wonderful new knees last me a good long time.
I have never had a Dr's office make me wait as long as these people did. What irritates me most is that the staff are not even apologetic about it. They think it is ok to waste people's time. The Dr's skills are not that great that I should tolerate this wait. I'm already looking for another Dr.
