I would recommend Half Price Movers to anybody looking for a professional and friendly moving company at an affordable price. They were even willing to stay past closing time so I can purchase boxes and pre pay for my move. On moving day, they were very proficient and handled my belongings with care. Very satisfied overall with the whole experience, and will go to them anytime I need to move.
The movers arrived in a timely manner. The young men were friendly. They worked hard the entire time and were careful with my things.
Everyone is wonderful with this company!! Got stood up by another moving company and the people at Half Price Movers in S.A. pulled everything together and were better than what I expected. From the dispatcher to the movers and follow up....the best movers out there!!!
I did not use them for a move, but my neighbors did. When I went to bring in my trash can on pick-up day it was still full. I looked inside and it was stuffed with heavy duty plastic wrap. Immediately, I knew the movers had filled my trash can with their trash. I was furious. I decided to call the company and was ready for a fight. I was pleasantly surprised when they apologised and promised to take care of it ASAP. That same day they came to my house and pulled out all their trash. Thank you for exceeding my expectations.
Half Price Movers did a great job, I have no trouble recommending them to anyone that needs professional movers at a great price! The team was courteous, fast, efficient, and careful with all of our belongings. Kudos to a job well done!
A couple of problems occurred. A filing cabinet fell apart. Most likely due to it being full. I should have emptied it or they might have recommended that. I thought the move took too much time although they were thoroughly cautious.
