When I started researching moving companies, it was horrifying. Seems like bad reviews way outnumber the good ones with every company. By the time it came to choose and commit, I was really, really nervous. The Scobey folks were helpful, flexible, responsive and nice. They kept in touch with me the whole time, and kept me up to date on everything I could expect. Their binding estimate was indeed that... every step of the way everyone showed up on time and everyone (two sets of movers, one set of packers in addition to the estimating crew) was efficient and competent and pleasant. Five stars would happen if nothing had been broken or misplaced (minor incidents of both - not sure anyone manages to move without some of that happening?), and occasionally it seemed as though one crew didn't have all the information that we had given the office, but that may also just be the way of things in a business (interstate moves) in which different companies contract with each other in order to get the work done.
Moving is a stressful experience always, but Mayflower and Chris Gonzales made the situation less so. We highly recommend them!
Late getting there to load. Damaged our furniture and almost every box was crushed. The pair that came to take inventory were the only ones who seemed to care about our stuff
Ridiculously slow.. Took incredibly long packing items..
