The outdoor grills and refrigerators are always cleaned, bathrooms & showers are spotless, the heated swimming pool, jacuzzi area is very inviting with beautiful landscaping, soft music playing and great lighting details. Greatest of all.... NO MOSQUITOES! as they use special repellants that truly work.
Have made this place my home for several months now. I was only planning on staying for 1 month.
The rec room is cozy and always clean. Fresh Popcorn made several times daily, and the best coffee ever...
My review is based on first impressions only. I contacted Greenlake via email last night late to ask about monthly rates and to my surprise I received an email from Patty and Allen, manager, by 7:30am this morning. All the information I needed was included and they made me feel important...without ever speaking with them. Their email stated they would call me later in the day to answer any questions and they did! I couldn't believe how nice they were..no let me rephrase that..how professional, respectful, and courteous they were. We are moving in tomorrow and I will post a follow up review at that time.
The grounds are paved and in excellent condition with no bumps, cracks or holes and always clean.
It's a great, safe, friendly place to visit for a short time or call it home

Seems to be very new. Their claim is "the Hyatt of RV parks." I think they are more like a Holiday Inn. Spaces are too close together. Whole atmosphere just seemed sterile. Needed a code to get in the restrooms and the dog walking area-seems too much. Pros: level concrete pads, great pool and hot (really hot with great jets) tub/spa, very clean and well manicured, right off of I-10.
Other than that, the place is awesome!
The resort itself is very nice with many amenities. However, besides being overly expensive I encountered numerous times where "management" was either lacking, non-existent, or just flat rude! In my one attempt to communicate to corporate my issues, I was met with...silence. Zero response! And it was over being blatantly disrespected by on-site staff, which was witnessed by another resident who approached me the next day saying they were leaving after witnessing the encounter I had! (It was that bad!).
The Resort is kept in immaculate condition at all times by manager and crew, not always the friendliest but considering the amount of work they handle between a crew of 4, it is understandable that at times they seem grouchy, except for Patty (one of the managers) whom is always upbeat, smiling and friendly.
This is a wonderful place to live. I plan on staying here while finishing pharmacy school. Best choice we ever made becoming full time RVers. Everything is wonderful here, although the internet is out only issue. If you have a good wireless service provider (we recommend Verizon becaus there is grest reception here), and you have a plan that includes internet, you'll be fine. Internet connectivity has been an issue especially since we need that service for school. Other than that the place awesome. I'd recommend it to any and everyone. The staff is AWESOME too!!
