Ludicrous charges, unethical staff. Best example: $120 just to get an AC looked at, not fixed, even if there's nothing wrong, even if the parts are covered by your Toyota protection plan... seriously. The salesmen are desperate and rude if you decide to leave. The maintenance team will squeeze every penny out of you they can. Great if you're rich. They're obviously not hurting for money given their success. Don't feel bad if you give someone more appropriate for your business.
Luckily I knew what to read & check on my vehicle gauges otherwise I would have blown the engine & Red McCombs would have been putting a brand new engine in my 2 year old truck.
Obed was so helpful in helping me find a reliable car for a good price. He was friendly and answered all my questions. At the end of it all he even was willing to help me get the car to my house as I was nervous about driving on the highway so soon. Thank you again!! We will be reccomending you in the near future.
Took my Toyota Tundra in for a simple oil change. Drop off, and giving info, getting call when truck was ready all went great. What wasn't so great was when I picked up the truck & began leaving the service area I noticed my truck had no oil pressure. Immediately turned around & parked it in the service bay to tell them my issue & upon inspection of my oil level the truck had no oil whatsoever in the truck! They took the truck back put oil in it & inspected/tested the engine & gears to be sure no damage was done. They gave me the oil change for free plus another oil change upon my next due time for one.
Totally clueless. After submitting an online inquiry into a specific Toyota car, my phone rang about 15 minutes later (on Sunday evening). This representative could not tell me whether McCombs had the car I am looking for in inventory, but wanted to ask me multiple questions about what my ideal car dealership would be like. Really?? Presumably, this dealership is paying for this service. Unbelievable. Way to make a first impression.
Working with Christian at Red McCombs Toyota was a wonderful experience. He went above and beyond what I'd expect of any salesperson and was never pushy in our van buying experience. Unfortunately, because my husband and I had different ideas of what we were looking for in a vehicle and there was nothing on the lot that satisfied both of us, we haven't purchased from Red McCombs. The best I can do to help out such a patient salesperson as Christian is to leave this glowing review of our experience.
