I took my daughter about 2m ago and it was my and my daughters best experience.
I have been to a different dentist in past made me very uncomfortable and did not want me in room while working on my daughter.......???

I have been terrified about going to the dentist for years... until now. This office has a great staff and modern equipment (as well as entertainment for the kids) that makes each visit a pleasant experience. Dr. Rackham is the most thorough dentist I have every met and truly cares about each of his patients and developing a game plan for continued care over the years. I've been blown away by this practice and highly recommend them!
This was a great dentist for our son the first time we visited them. The first visit we paid nothing for his checkup and his HMO insurance covered it . The second time we were charged $54 dollars a month after his routine checkup and nothing was told to us upfront during this visit. I since bought my son his own dental plan and now the refuse to accept HMO insurance. I guess somewhere in between they stopped accepting HMO insurance. This is kind of funny because every time we have been there they are sitting around and have no customers. This has even been the case on A Saturday. If you want to be sure to not have a wait and go anytime you wish but love unexpected high charges later then this is your place.
I recently took my son to Dr. Rackham's office for his initial consultation/general cleaning and was pleasantly greeted by his professional staff at the front desk. They warmly welcomed us, reassured me of his safety, and kindly guided my son to his appropriated seat. Dr. Rackham greeted me and my son appropriately and educated us on the benefits of correct brushing techniques, age appropriate toothpaste selections, and the absolute methodology to flossing. He was very gentle, intelligent, and moreover made my son at ease during his appointment. Due to this positive experience, I plan on returning with my son for his annual check-ups and feel at ease that his oral hygiene and care is in the hands of a very experienced, intelligent, and professional pediatric dentist. I highly encourage everyone within San Antonio to make an appointment with Dr. Rackham, DMD, DDS, and his team to ensure that their child's oral health and safety are protected under his care and team!
