This psychiatric facility is unique to San Antonio with what it has to offer patients. The receptionists are warm and kind, and practitioners practice in terms of treating the whole person; they aren't looking to "fix" everything with medication. If medication is subscribed, it is prescribed specifically to alleviate symptoms however this is not a pill-pushing facility which I very much appreciate. The practitioners are also confident, yet not cocky, which is invaluable to someone who is anxious in temperament or anxious to have to walk into a mental health care setting. Sigma Mental Health Care, in particular Dr. Melissa S. Deuter, has helped me and my family in immeasurable ways. I am beyond appreciative and eternally grateful.
