Dr. Shaw-Mason was great, but waited almost 3 hours here. Arrived at 9:45 for my 10:15 appointment. Didn't get called back till a little after noon. Left at 1:45pm. If you are coming here be prepared to wait a while.
I went to this clinic for prenatal care from September to March and I have a lot to say about it. Definitely not recommend it to anyone! First of all, as others mentioned, they take 2 hours before they call you into a room and another hour before the Dr. sees you. And that's on a good day. Some days I waited longer than 3 hours. Don't get me wrong, Dr. Shaw-Mason is a very kind and caring Dr. But so not worth all of the negative experiences I had at this clinic. Another reason I wouldn't recommend them is because they couldn't find my diabetes results twice! I don't understand how they can lose something they were supposed to enter into the computer. Not only that, but when she did the Group 2 Strep swab 1 month before delivery, again she couldn't find the results, so she has to do it a second time. Moving on with my list, on my appt 2 weeks before due date(beginning of March), she asked me if I had been taking iron. Of course I told her I wasn't because she hadn't prescribed it or even mentioned I needed it. It turns out my lab work from December showed I was anemic. They waited until the end of my pregnancy to disclose that information to me. Yet whenever I asked them about my results, they said, "if we don't call you, that means everything is fine." And last, but not least, I developed a uti post partum a week after delivery. I wad sort of getting used to them since I had 3 during my pregnancy. So I called the office a couple of days later and asked if they could refill my prescription or if I needed to make an appt. The receptionist said she would relay the message and a nurse would call me back. Well, a week went by and I still hadn't heard back from them. It got so bad that i kept getting a fever even while on tylenol 325mg ×3 and ibuprofen 800mg. Since it was Saturday and i had a newborn to take care of I couldn't wait so I went into an urgent care clinic where they immediately injected me with rocephin and have me a prescription for an antibiotic. I was in and out of that clinic in an hour. It makes it look really bad when a walk in clinic is a lot faster than your own Dr's clinic. The only reason I stayed there was for convenience. It was 3 mins away from work and i could get there quickly for my appts.
WORST SEVICE EVER !!!! Regret coming here had an appointment at 10:30 didn't get seen until 1 Pm 'Just to have them send me Somewhere else and nothing get done !!! I would post half a star if I could !!
I went here with issues with period and thyroid issues. Dr. Gray not only helped me but put me back on track with birth control. I was really content cause she listened to what i told her. The nurses there were funny and actually saw me cry cause my emotions were out of whack and made me feel better.
Friendly staff, my visit was fast.
