I've always had nothing but the best experiences at this salon! Julia Benton is by far the best hairstylist who has ever done my hair. I moved out here from Colorado and it took me forever to find someone I was comfortable with, as far as cuts and colors go. She always listens to exactly what I want and works her magic. I have never been disappointed in her work and I love the overall atmosphere of the salon! Plus, Julia is literally the best makeup artist I've ever worked with! Topnotch!!!!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! :'( Went into the salon with high hopes and had Julia Benton as my stylist. She acted like she knew what she was doing and made it clear everything would be fine. I was wanting to go blonder and expressed that to her. She brought me a price sheet to sign off of... it did not go over much other than the price I was paying for the services total. No biggie at first since I thought everything would be fine... Long story short... pretty much my whole head of hair was bleached! I realized my hair would be bleached to an extent but didn't realize how badly!!! After all was said and done I was in shock.... my hair turned out extreme bright yellow!!! ...with different tones and shades of yellow/orange... AND BLEACH SPOTS in the back of my hair etc. This place is very high priced for LOW QUALITY work. I called the salon telling them my situation and they said they can't know what my hair will look like at the end.... (as their excuse) seriously? They were extremely rude over the phone and made it clear they didn't really care. No offer to reimburse me for the horrible service .. and I was told it would be an EXTRA CHARGE to change it to something I was comfortable with... unbelievable. Not only was my hair color messed up but my hair cut as well. I spent about $300 and did not get anything close to what I asked for. Not to mention I had to spend more money to try to fix it... which isn't very easy to do... WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY. This place does not truly value their customers.... DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE! Very disappointing and sickening experience.
I gave this a 1 star just by reading how unprofessional the owner response was to the customer who complained. Just WOW. The response literally reminded me of being back in high School. I definitely won't go here. Btw, I had someone mess up on my hair and she was so more than happy to fix it. No charge either. Whether that customer was exaggerating, wrong or whatever, the customer is always right and when owning a business you should know that's the first rule of thumb. Stay professional always. Major turn off reading how the response came out. And seeing with how unprofessional you were, I'm sure I'll be receiving a notification of a cat fight invite.
Kat is an excellent hair stylist!!! She listens to her clients and does a fantastic job using hair color that looks natural and appealing. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a stylist.
Being a sceptic and crazy about who does my hair, I never have high hopes going somewhere new. Recently I had a momentary lack of judgement and thought it was a good idea to do a bleach wash on my roots and they turned orange! I was devastated! My beautiful blonde balayage was ruined. After reading the reviews on here I booked an appointment with Amberlynn and prayed she could work miracles on my jacked up hair! SHE DID! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! The color, the cut, everything is amazing! You cannot be in better hands with her! Book your appointment now, you won't regret It!
