Update: So after making this post I decided to call Linda and tell her about my daughters hair. Well she agreed to let us come back the next day to redo the two braids for free. She did not offer an apology and was not the friendliest, but I was happy that she was at least willing to re-do the hair. The next day I ended up calling her again to see what time we could come in. She did not have availability until the afternoon and it was more convenient for me to just get a refund and move on. She rudely said "you will not be getting your money back, it's not my problem that you don't want me to fix the hair". I don't know why I still returned to get the hair fixed after she was so nasty over the phone. We get there and she did not speak to us and just told my daughter to get in the chair. She was rough with my daughter the entire time, and hostile. We left and I was still not pleased with the work. So Linda I have a message for you. You can't be rude and unskilled in your profession, pick one or the other. You lack customer service, and that will be the downfall of your business. I even let it slide when you tried to haggle me and charge a different price than what you initially told me over the phone. Get it together girl.
Please read and understand that I'm trying to help future girls who are seeking an installation. She had to watch a YouTube VIDEO to do my hair! I saw B&l had high stars on google but low yelp review stars, and choose to ignore. NEVER IGNORE! On Monday I decided I wanted a consultation with someone to put my very expensive hair in. I found B&l through the high stars on goggle, hopped in my car and headed in that direction. First problem, the shop is no longer located at the place listed online, it is located 5 minuets down the way in a small hard to get into, hard to get out of parking lot. But oh well, right I just need someone who can put my hair in and do a GOOD job. I hop out to the door and wait a few moments for someone to unlock the door, and she asks me what I wanted. I let her know I wanted a side part, middle part, sew in and leave out all around for a ponytail. With no hesitation she says she can do it. I was impressed and excited made an appointment for Wednesday at 10 am and left. I show up to my appointment 15 minuets early, she asks me again what I wanted, and acting as she understood the style, got started. When she got done twisting the leave out I asked her will there be a middle and side part with this, because obviously there mirrors are not chair level and you cannot see anything, especially not yourself. She told me yes and the next girl cornrows my hair. I asked her, because I cannot feel any deep parts in my head, is there any parts for my side and middle part and she said yes. The girl was really shy but I think someone should have showed me or at least said they don't know how to do it but because they are telling me yes of course I'm believing them. After she sews it in it becomes evident. There is no side or middle part only hair leave out. "See, thats where I was misunderstanding," she said. Im not leaving with that mess they put in my head, I showed her pictures and she said I should of showed her this picture first . Im sorry but can someone tell me is there any other interpretation on A SIDE PART MIDDLE PART and leave out. And if you were misunderstanding why not ask for a photo. Come to find out, even with the picture she actually didn't know what to do. Hmmm. So she asks me to play the tutorial video from YouTube of the picture I showed her so she can can do the braid base, which took 30 minuets of my arm raised up in the air. Im pressing play and pause for to complete the steps. Then she didn't know how to sew in the hair with that braid, and she begins to say I can't do a middle and side part only one, so i say its ok i can go, she REFUSED and continued to try. She asked to see the video to see how they sewed it in near the parts but the video assumes a stylists knows what they are doing. In the end my issue is that some of my front tracks are not flattened, they don't have the materials to style your hair so they straightened my leave out, not well, which did not match my body wave curls, and my stylist left to pick up her child so it was incomplete. Got there at 9:45, left at 3:15 just to go to another salon to fix what she said she could not do.
I had a great experience here, I walked in asked them if they could do my style of braiding. They were very prompt with service and got the style of braid correctly. I would not only recommend this to my family and friends but to all who are seeking a quality braiding shop. Left with a smile on my face and look to return very soon !!
I just got some box braids done by Linda and the experience was great! My hair came out perfect and neat and she was super gentle because I am extremely tender headed. And she also left my edges out so it would not pull my hair out and it still looks great. Price was affordable and I am glad I came!
Nice people and reasonable price. But she used so much gel on my daughters corn rows that the gel dried up all flaky and now I might need to take the braids out because it looks so bad. This is so disappointing because she just got her hair done today and I feel like I wasted my money.

Today was my first time going to Linda to get my hair braided and she did an amazing job. She's a very sweet and patient lady. I had to bring my baby with me and she didn't make me feel rushed when I had to change a diaper or feed baby. Linda is very professional, she was on time and started my hair promptly after my arrival to the shop. Nowadays sitting in the chair at your appointment time is unheard of. I showed her a picture of the style I wanted and she nailed it, in fact it came out better than the picture. And lastly, her prices are reasonable and affordable I will be back to see her again!
