Spa de Rosa is one of the best spas!! I have been a loyal customer for 6 years. She does amazing eyebrow waxing's, facials, and full face waxing's I do not trust anyone else.
Horrible experience. I went to this horrid low-level salon because of an internet coupon I purchased. First, no one understood what I wanted (not that it mattered) because they all spoke Spanish and the owner, Rosa, had to translate to the stylist what to do. I asked for "long layers" and ended up getting 5 inches cut off and bangs, which I would NEVER want. The staff was junior level at best and they completely did not know what they were doing. Upon seeing my frustration, Rosa explained that their stylists were new. Who the hell want's to be the tested customers who get third-rate service from people who don't even understand English? This is the WORST experience that left me in tears and seeking to find another salon immediately after leaving. What a poor experience. I will NEVER go back.
I loved my experience at Spa de Rosa, and I have been to many high-end spas. Rosa helped me with facial treatments and she was so professional and patient. The treatments worked wonders also! In addition, the treatments were very affordable compared to other spas in Alamo Heights. I will be going back on a regular basis.
Oscar is seriously a miracle worker, I can't say enough about his skills and professionalism. He gave me exactly what I wanted. If you are in a hurry, this isn't the place for you. He is very attentive to details and takes a tad bit longer, but personally I was totally ok with that! Highly recommend.
