The waiting sucks here but Dr. Jules Avril and her assistant Norma are amazing I must admit I was pissed I had an appointment for 1:45 PM I got call at 4:45PM just when I was about to leave, Dr. Jules apologize and explain it was a very busy day for her and her assistance..she did give me a great deal of attention is what you really want from a doctor after a long wait she is really good.so plan on the wait don't make any other plans for the time you'll be there.
This is getting old. My appt was at 7:50 as the first patient and an hour later I'm still not seen. It's always like this here. When I see my regular dr it takes literally 3 hours to be seen. My wife is a state employee and pays a lot for this insurance. This is BS
I took my son and three nephews to this clinic, and more specifically, Dr. Cajas. I loved this clinic. Dr. Cajas and her staff were always amazing and kind and listened to all of my concerns. Kids were constantly sick, pnuemonia, RSV, stomach flu, and constant colds. She treated each of them, and when we had same day sick appts with the PA, she would come and check on my kids. Our 6 month old had RSV and we had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. Dr. Cajas stayed with us until the ambulance arrived and reassured me that he would be fine. She even called me the next morning to make sure I knew his test results. She was amazing and I miss her! Her primary nurse is also fantastic. I cannot reccomend them enough.
I have been coming here for several years and followed my doctor from the south side because we liked her but reading these other comments I see that I am not the only one that has a waiting issue. I waited 6 hours for my doctor because I needed to discuss a medication change. That at the time was too long. As long as I have been coming to UHS they have never been on time! NEVER!!! I thought it was just my doctor but again from reading the reviews it is management not the doctors. I am looking into a formal complaint. If anyone would like to have some input please contact me @ dluketic @ y a hoo dot com. I would be more than happy to make this a big deal and attempt to get some results!
Great doctors and nurses are awesome. Front desk could be more friendly but seeing what they deal with everyday I would probably be grumpy too. Thank you all for what you do.
