Back office is chaotic and disorganized.

I work in the health business and know an efficient clinic. This is the WORST clinic I have had the misfortune of experiencing.

She dragged herself in for an open appointment and after a plethora of tests they agreed she wasin bad shape...and told her they would schedule an appointment with a pulmonary specialist.

This group is almost criminally nonchalant about its patient's health.

For shame.

Do not go here because you will waste your time, your money, and your sanity with the lack of organization and efficiency with this practice.

Thats longer wait than @ VA, as a patient its not my fault they are shorthanded

Currently a month & a half wait to get appt to see my Dr, thats ridiculous !

Just recently got a notification I was charged a late fee and that I still owed money from my previous visit. When I asked why I wasn't I told about the fee when I was last at the office, the nurse didn't have an answer for me. I ALWAYS ask if there is a fee before and I was told I did not.

This is a great practice. They really take their time with you. Don't rush you and really get to know you as a person. Dr. John Nguyen has a great sense of humor. He even had a nurse call us back to answer our question even though he was on vacation. The front office people are nice . When I had a concern about billing, they resolved it the same day and called me back to say how they were handling it. You can't ask for better service. I also like how they have one doctor who handles urgent care. I have never had a problem getting in as a result. Love this place.

NO KIDS ALLOWED!? I started going to see Dr. Coutinho as my primary care doctor five years ago for a few simple issues and he was fine. However, there are major issues I have with the office policies (not even related to insurance or money) that have completely prevented me from seeing him. I called earlier this year to make an appointment for a physical, but the office told me that I couldn't have one done until I had a "new patient visit" since I hadn't been in to see him in a couple of years (I have been healthy and didn't think it had been that long). More than half of the time, he only does drop-in care, which means you can't actually make an appointment, you have to gamble with your time. I had actually come in for drop in care once and they turned me away because I hadn't been seen for a regular visit recently! Once I sprained my ankle and their xray machine was broken so they wouldn't see me then either. But, after completing a new patient visit, the office would then allow me to schedule an annual physical. I waited TWO MONTHS for my new patient visit and when I arrived I took my two smallest children, as I had in the past. I am a stay-at-home mom and figured the visit was more of a formality and it wasn't necessary to get a babysitter since the visit would only be a few minutes. They informed me that their office policy was to not allow children back into the rooms, and that they would make NO exceptions. I was shocked- after all the name of the practice includes the words, "Family Doctors." and they actually supposedly see kids age 4+ there as patients. Also, I have never seen anywhere on their website or forms that states that kids aren't allowed in under any circumstances when a parent is being seen as the patient. When I asked why, they said that people come for sick visits and it is for my children's protection. However, if I had another adult watch them in the waiting room (which was also full of sick people, by the way), it would be fine. So, these guys just aren't right for me.

That was three weeks ago. Still waiting.

Rude.

My ex faced horrible lung problems and tge soonest they could see her was 3 months away.

There was a continuous battle between my insurance who verified with me, and I got them on the phone with the front desk of the clinic that it was covered. My insurance just needed their okay and a little bit of information. They received the okay after a month and a half, and only to find out the medication was overpriced than what I was told through my doctor who gave me a coupon that could only be used by certain insurance holders (not my insurance). I called the clinic and canceled any appointments well in advance.
