This man who I guess owns the store, needs to close his store down. He is a complete A...... maybe his mother didn't teach him manners. He looks like the most unhappiness person. I'm sure his life sucks. I can't see anyone wanting to be around this man. He told me the same derogatory comments as the others. One day we all have to answer for our actions. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Cost plus on Nacogdoches is awesome. I'm sure his store won't be open for long with an attitude like his. Good luck, you horrible old man.
The man running the store had very outdated information according to the current literature and research. His recommendations were old school beliefs that have long since been proven inaccurate and he became very agitated when I politely did not follow his advice. I was able to find what I wanted on Amazon cheaper and with out all the old wives tales and the attitude.
Well I guess I should have looked at the reviews before going there. I had a similar experience as most people on here. I asked for information on a product brand since I had never heard of them and was not aware of their purity, verification process, quality, etc. He told me he didn't give a F@%& whether I had hear about it or not and said if I don't like it to get the f@#% out of his store. Don't think I'll be going back.
Um well I'm glad I wasn't the only one who got told to get out of his store after I started questioning his knowledge. So people, please if you want vitamins go somewhere else. If you want a good yelling this is the place.
I'm quite amused by the reviews on here. I've been going to Casey for 3 years now. The man knows his stuff, and to say "Wikipedia" knows more than him is an outrageous statement that is not to be taken seriously. That being said, I have witnessed many obnoxious customers. The clientele in this area of Alamo Heights can be very pretentious & condescending. The only 2 times I saw him get upset was when 1) A lady made a rude & racist remark about another gentleman in the store and 2) A woman came in to ask his advice then argued with him about it. Why ask if you're going to question & argue? Having worked in customer service many years, I can see how people that think its okay to be demanding & rude are quick to get offended when somebody doesn't bend over backward to still kiss their feet. Casey is easily in his 70's and past that nonsense. The customer is NOT always right. Take it as you will. If you are not going in to be a time waster, act pretentious about things you don't know about, make rude remarks, & are sincerely concerned with gaining knowledge and bettering your health go talk with Mr. Casey. I am very thankful for everything he has helped me with and we are fortunate to have someone with his knowledge in town.
