My husband has been treated in the Heart Center for cardiac oblation and electric shock all in an attempt to get his atrial fibrillation back in normal rhythm. I have been so impressed with all the staff. They are very friendly, professional and efficient. This hospital is older but has stepped up their game to be first rate. Will always elect to come here rather than the central location. There is a noticeable difference in the quality of care.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR HEALTHCARE; THIS HOSPITAL DOES NOT RECOGNIZE PATIENTS AS PEOPLE. The way this hospital has treated me has been shameful and inhuman. Overcharged me for a surgical procedure, admitted their "mistake," and promised me a refund of the difference. After a month of fighting with their billing office, still nothing. Everyone I speak to gives me a different story and passes the blame to someone else. After all this, having still not received my money back, I get another bill in the mail today for services my insurance has already covered. How dare they. The manner in which this hospital is run is either absolutely incompetent or absolutely crooked, and quite frankly, everyone in the billing office should be in prison for insurance fraud. Now I am forced to hire an attorney and get my money back that way. I will never return to this hospital after the way they have stolen from me and lied to me again and again over the past month. Do yourself a favor; either go somewhere else, or just live with the health problems.

I just got discharged from this hospital a few hours ago. I have zero confidence in this hospital. This is the second time I've been here and both times the doctor and nurses have no bedside manner or care for my issue at all. I simply asked what could cause the allergy that he said I have suddenly developed, my left eyelid is swollen like the size of a ping pong and I previously had a major headache prior to the swelling which has been present since 1am. William Mitchell,MD said "It could be from anything you touch." I said "Even if I haven't changed anything or done anything different?" He asked where I spend my time, I said at home with my kids. He said "You touch the doorknob, the counter, etc it could be from any of those things." He said "You've never heard of anyone developing an allergy to something that they weren't allergic to before?" I said "No I haven't." He said "Wow you need to get out more." He then said "Have you heard of google?" I said "Yes." He asked again "So you've never heard of someone developing a peanut allergy as an adult?" I again said "No." He made a shocked expression. He then asked if I smoke or drink, I said "No." He then proceeded to say "You'd think you'd need it after being with those kids." I said "You'd think you'd need it after working here all day." Clearly frustrated with the smart remarks. The only treatment I received was a steroid shot and a script for an antihistamine. My previous experience didn't go well either. I had hoped this time would be different but obviously nothing has changed. I don't know what you would call this but it's definitely not a place to get adequate care. The previous time I was put in a room for an hour waiting on somebody, anybody to come in. I get anxiety and this was overwhelmingly uncomfortable for me. Someone finally passed by and asked my name. Turns out they forgot all about me, no one put my name on the board so it's like I wasn't even there. The doctor that time said "He didn't have the tools to find out why I was having pain." He said he could only give me a steroid shot or a script. I just wanted to share my experience at this hospital and I will not be going back. I was also charged over $400 for that visit after receiving no treatment.

We are still here / long time in ER waiting on room and had keep asking about when would be put in room. Was over Two hours but finally got one. But on up side everyone very friendly and taking great care of my husband.

Went in for emergency care and was given a protective boot without any discussion of cost or insurance coverage. Just got a bill from a third party supplier for this boot, $663.00, referenced to a doctor that I did not see! The Ossur Equalizer Premium Air Walker can be found on Amazon for $39.51. The highest I found was around $60. Absurd!! I'm sure they will say they have no control over the pricing set by the supplier, but don't they legally have to tell you what you will be charged for such items or if your insurance will cover it?
