Horrible administrative team. The HR director cursed me out in the parking lot. Completely unprofessional. Beware.
The entire staff of nurses, nurse assistants, and physical therapists are the most caring people I have experienced. All of them know what you need and orchestrate a comprehensive medical plan to ensure your success in healing your physical needs. I would recommend this facility to anyone.
I have been a patient here twice. I cannot believe some of the false comments and accusations I have read. First off, the administration staff has gone out of their way to see that I got in quicker than they planned (per my request). Second, the nurses and CNA'S were ALL compassionate and respectful. I never had to wait on my medication or anything at that. They were prompt and friendly any time I hit the call button. The therapists were awesome! Might I add my mother was here as a patient, so from what I could see, they don't have a high turnover of employees. All therapist were highly concerned about safety and my well being. I worked with quite a few of them. They too, we're compassionate and empathetic towards me. They always asked how the pain was and if I needed any medication. They will work with you on a schedule that fits you; like what time will be best to start in the morning, when your pain is in control. The doctors are all very nice with a great bedside manner. If you feel your pain medication is not working well, all you have to do is talk to them. They treat you with respect and will listen to you. As for the food, there has been a huge improvement. The meals are served HOT. The food choices is much more than the typical hospital meals; such as chicken and broccoli. You have the option to write down anything you want that is not on the menu and they do their best to accommodate you. I strongly recommend this place.
I arrived at this place 3 days after back surgery. That evening a radiologist slammed a metal tray into my back and opened up my surgery. I was rushed to Methodist where I spent 3 weeks and 2 more surgeries trying to stop my spinal fluid from leaking out of my body. Select Rehab almost killed me and they are sending me bills for my stay of a few hours of $1400 if you can believe that. Unreal! If you stay here you will be taking your life into your own hands. The treatment I received from staff was appalling. They would not even give me something to throw up in. Told me to throw up in the trash can- which I did. Everyone at Methodist was shocked when I told them what happened to me and Methodist gave me excellent care. NEVER EVER go to this rehab.
