The rooms are not well kept, old barracks style rooms with old mouldy bathrooms. Sometimes the room was cleaned, others it wasn't. Elevators would stop working and trap people inside, and the call for help button doesn't page anyone in this building. The manager laughed when I told him that a gentleman had been trapped in the elevator for over 20 minutes. Has free laundry service, but the washers should be cleaned. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast is good. Go stay at the Candlewood Suites on base, much nicer and has a pool.
If I could rate a zero I would. Understandably it's on post military hotel, but even this is pretty crappy. The elevators barely work, with the doors that don't open and getting stuck between floors. Was stuck in there for 10 minuets. Sewage pipe leaking through bathroom wall, the ants coming from cracks in the bathroom and closets. Bedsheets weren't changed from previous tenant, hair and food crumbs were in the bed. Had to be moved to a different room that was "clean", just excessive air freshener was sprayed. If possible stay off post.
Rooms are pretty clean but the bathroom needs some changes. I don't think they should charged that much money for this rooms. Staff at the "Front Desk" is excellent..
The building is old. It's been updated, but probably over a decade ago. I don't know what the "better" rooms/buildings look like, but I think I'm getting the value for what I'm paying. My room is clean, great water pressure, A/C is almost too cold, and the kitchenette adequate. Some of the windows nearest the lobby are broken and have wood on them. The young staff are energetic and capable. The breakfast is simple but it's varied and abundant... and free. The business center has free printing and five computers. The building is near - within a half mile at the furthest - a "fast food" food court, a great modern gym, running tracks, and a water park (not open yet for the summer). If you need gilded opulence then this building is not for you. If you want value for what you pay per night, this answers that.
The room had a decent amount of space. It had a microwave and refrigerator and a desk to get some work done. The bed was a little on the firm side but still comfortable.
