We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, it was amazing!

In a nutshell, room 29. This room made our entire experience magical. I probably should have kept that in the bag but sharing is caring. The old world Spanish decor is breathtaking and the customer service is wonderful. Before checking in I was able to sample some of their complementary coconut drink which was amazing and far more interesting than cucumber/lemon water. The pool area was beautifully decorated and private since it is enclosed on all four sides by the hotel itself. The hotel is further away from the mall area which is where I like to be closest to because of our Girls, the environment more than makes up for that. The room was slightly smaller than what I had expected but that could be because it was a king bed room. I also had requested a roll away bed by phone and was pleased to find it in our room upon arrival. Customer service is key for me and this hotel does not disappoint.

100% would recommend and will return. Service was phenomenal! Staff was excellent! Hands down the best hotel stay of my life. I've traveled the world in the military and stayed at hotels everywhere... nothing comes close to this palace. I really wish I was getting paid for this, trust me I am not.

We drove up the Doorman greeted us with a warm"Welcome to San Antonio".
He unloaded our luggage for us and arranged to have it sent to the room. They valet parked our car.
This hotel is gorgeous but the service was awful. From check in to check out it was a nightmare. On check in they tried to charge me for 2 additional nights. I even showed her on my bank where i had already paid. On top of that she wanted to charge me $100 for incidentals but refunded that. The menu for Thanksgiving was great except the food was cold, the dressing was drive, few vegetables and it was $80.00. Twice i came to my room and could not get in. Once they said the credit card declined which it should not have. I checked my balance and there were funds. She ran it again and it went through. I could not wait to get out of here. I definitely wont stay again. From the food to the service. No one notified me the card would not go through. They ran it at 2:00 and i was in the room at that time. No one called etc and when i called i was put on hold for over q0 minutes and i hung up and called back. When i did get someone on the phone she never said anything about my card lol. Please do yourself a favor and do not stay here
