This is by far my favorite bead store in San Antonio! Love Ann (the owner), super helpful staff, with GORGEOUS beads and finished jewelry. Prices and quality the best in town.
Walking into the store, my husband and I were warmly greeted and asked if we needed any help with anything. After explaining what I was doing, I was pointed in the right direction and let loose. When I asked if they had any donut bails, Ann herself showed me their stock and also suggested a hand-made wrap with a bead at the top to really set it apart as a focal. The beads are excellent quality, and while I was trying to sort out which stones I wanted for my project, my husband played with our 11 month old at the table that was filled with gemstones for focals and wrapping. The staff were very friendly, the prices extremely reasonable, and I found that I was able to purchase single beads from a strand, an inch of beads, or a whole strand. The shop is very well organized - the gemstones are sorted by color and hung according to stone. It was very easy to find the stones I wanted once I sorted out the color scheme for my project. At the back of the store, everything is available for use to make your jewelry right there. The freedom of purchasing just the perfect beads from a strand instead of the whole strand is a definite plus. You HAVE to go to this shop if you're in San Antonio and have a need to bead!
