When I want to the counter...the lady was rude, no how are you doing or nothing...she took the papers and basically threw them from my hand..she seemed annoyed that I had a one way rental and told me that it's a manual input....well that's not my problem..I was told to take it to this location. I then asked if I could get a courtesy ride home and she said no bc it was only her and one other person. I mean I had no way home so I had to walk about 3 miles..overall the worst experience and definitely won't be using budget in the future

I never write reviews but I had to on this situation. These people pulled a bait and switch. I have rented from multiple companies that discuss pricing, insurance, additional options on all ends. This Budget location did not. They were inconvenienced to discuss it with me. When I asked to speak with a manager, they gave me the number to Jose. Oh Jose. This individual told me he was the most senior person in the city and refused to help me. I asked to speak with him regional manager and he refused. He told me that it was a franchise, so I asked to speak with the manager and he told me no.
I am upset and disappointed that I was quoted a price and expected that price. Then, they have the nerve to charge me an extra $48.00. When I asked for a refund or adjustment, he went into a loop. He refused to assist me nor give me an explanation.
These people are the most incompetent group of individuals I have ever dealt with. First, I go in to get my vehicle and the lady was pleasant. I explained that my car was hit and I may need the vehicle for more than a week. 'Just give us a call and we can extend it,' she says. No mention of price of extending for another week. Fine, no big deal. I call back to extend and after being on hold for 12.5 minutes they finally assist me. I was not on hold with music or silence, I could hear the lady's ENTIRE conversation. She assisted 2 customers and began to discuss with another individual about her shirt, then buttons, then her mother's placebo pills, etc. I pressed the number keys so the person knew I was still on the line. She finally picked up and I asked for the extension. Again, no mention of pricing. She just rushed me off of the phone. Then 2 days later, I get a call back from Budget asking where the vehicle was and asking when I was returning it. I was furious. Again, no one discussed the difference in pricing.
I love renting from there. Great customer service. Never a hassle, very helpful. Cars always smell brand new. Recommend them always!
PAM, THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK, IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. NOT PERSONABLE AT ALL: NO HELLO OR HOW ARE YOU!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! PAM HAS ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!!! NEVER WILL USE BUDGET TRUCK RENTAL AGAIN!!! I CONTACTED THE CORPORATE OFFICE ON PAM!!!
