I'm not sure why the rating is so low but the customer service was great! The rep was personable and kind. The process was simple and straight to the point. I would recommend them.
I reserve online, everything was so easy, very good customer service, office staff move quickly. Good place to do business. Will be back soon ,price is right.
Fantastic customer service at the counter, shuttle and gentleman reviewing any damages before I left the lot. Quick shuttle ride and frequent shuttles to and from the airport. Would rent from here again.
Tried to tack on too many extra charges had to back and speak with manager ..also didnt honor the unlimied miles that it said on trip advisor..said becuase I am local...never had such an issue at enterprise or other places..I spent the trip paranoid is go over mileage or accidently go thru a toll way. frustrating
Doing business with E-Z Rent-aCar has become a nightmare. As a matter of fact, I am currently on hold with their airport location. The time on hold, this far, is 1 hour and 17 minutes. my intent was to rent a car for four days while we visited family and volunteered in Victoria, TX, helping to clean up after Hurricane Harvey. The employee who conducted the initial transaction tacked on the extra insurance charge of $28 per day AFTER I repeated declined it. He tacked on a $250 deposit without telling me. All said, my credit card was locked up with a hold of over $600, not to be released until seven days later. This means we are locked out of the funds we saved for this trip. The credit card company told me this morning that if E-Z would call them and verify the total amount of the final transaction, they would be able to release the rest of the locked up funds. At approx 10:32 cst, I called the E-Z office to make the request. I am still "on hold". The level of deception I have encountered from this company is unprecedented (in my lifetime). If this situation is rectified, I will be glad to come back to this site and describe the outcome. On hold for 1 hour and 28 minutes ... to get them to onlock over $600.... for a THREE DAY RENTAL OF A BASIC JEEP CHEROKEE.
