I don't write bad review about a business because I'm a businessman and a bad review can really hurt your business. That said, I would go above and beyond to help out my clients, this store and the staff are not particularly keen on helping you and I did rent elsewhere a better vehicle for a cheaper price.
On average, I rent a car about once a year, and I always use this location! Over the past 10+ years, they have always been courteous and professional. They explain the terms of the rental agreement and the insurance requirements clearly, and they are always thorough to document any existing damage to prevent me from being held liable. Due to their diligence in confirming insurance, I even one-time learned that my personal insurance coverage was not set up correctly and I was able to get it corrected that day! They are occasionally quite busy and there may be a bit of a wait to pick up a rental, but at least when that happens, you can see all the employees working and taking care of customers, instead of sitting around or slacking off. I would highly recommend this Enterprise location for anyone who needs to rent a car!
I was on a call with with my insurance company today about the accident claim and I brought this incident up and they said "Hey our history show you seem to have rented through enterprise in 2014 and they have directly billed us. Not sure how this happened. But please reach out to (your current rental company) and provide them our contact info.. if they cant do direct billing we will send you a check". Now why would I send an email as you recommended? Appreciate the thought though.
The customer service and customer care at this location is Exceptional! I received personal attention that made me feel like I am part of a great family. I want to thank all of the representatives for their time and assistance. Thank You, YOU are the Best!!!
I have rented before but in a different state and location. Whenever I do there’s always a vehicle reserved because I reserved in advance online and there’s always a vehicle at the location. So I was a little disappointed because I made my reservation online two weeks prior to my day of rental at 7:30 AM that way it will give me enough time if there was traffic the vehicle still be there. As I arrive on that day there wasn’t any vehicle at the rental place. And the customer service agent said that they will upgrade for minivan which I really didn’t want to drive a minivan and I know how it is with bigger cars so I ask him I reserve the vehicle online but there’s no vehicle that I reserved. Then he told me that it will be 15 minutes late because he needed to grab from a different location and I just wasn’t happy about that because for one thing I was late for my daughters function and then I caught the traffic as I went there and so on and on… As I got back dropped off the vehicle as they were nice enough to drop me off to my home and I asked them a question about reserving a vehicle in advance online. Just didn’t make sense so in other words there’s no sense to reserve the vehicle because he was saying that if I reserved the vehicle online 3 days or so and a person that walked in didn’t reserve the vehicle he has the right to take the vehicle that I reserved on that day so i guess in other words if he was to get there five minutes before me, he has the right to rent the vehicle that I reserved two weeks prior and I would have to wait! That just doesn’t make sense !!!
Ok now as for enterprise's reservation System why wouldn't you alert me if there is some type of hold on my drivers license when I make the reservation!? Is this really your idea of customer experience? Really? The reason I was trying to rent was my wife and child were in an accident(other driver at fault) last night and the vehicle is at the shop for repairs.. I have to say enterprise and this store just added another huge inconvenience to the whole situation.. thank you so much! Will never be renting or try to rent at Enterprise ever again.
well it took me 22 hours just to Confrim that a had a reservation for the following monday. I escalated my case three times and then I finally filed an official corporate complaint against the store on Pat Brooker Road, universal city, Tx ............ after I filed the corporate complaint for a car that was reserved for me by liberty mutual insurance to use while my car was being repaired.................... the store on Pat Brooker Road LIED and said I used the B word and I was blacklisted from ever booking a car with Enterprise again. I spent another 8 hours on the day I was supposed to pick up my car talking with my insurance company and enterprise and they could NOT provide me a car. They wanted double the rate the car had been booked at was the problem. when I asked the insurance to check on ohter rental companiers the only one was hertz and they wanted about ninety bucks a day. my insurance only covered thirty a day but they had reserved a full size car at PAT BRooker in universal city , TX for seven days at a weekly corporate rate of $102.23 . a great rate . no wonder pat brooker did not want to give me a full sized car for that rate . they wanted close to four dollars so I called corporate to complain about them NOT honoring a reservation I had spent 22 hours the previous week Confirming and after another eight hours on MONDAY ..........I had NO CAR . enterprise on pat brooker road is a bunch of con artists pure and simply. I had to make MY own reservation since after some thirty hours of discussion and even calling corporate against liberty mutual they were also simply hanging up on me. Enterprise on Pat Brooker road is the worst store on the face of the earth . NEVER rent from them . I did get a car from enterprise on Nacodoches a DAY LATER and I had to drive myself to and from the location IE I had to have a friend take me since my car was total by the insurance. which so far is doing nothing to pay me although my car was towed away two days ago and they already have the signed title ............ they say it will be maybe a week or two before they pay up. so lib mut could NOT reserve me a car or they did and pat brooker refused to honor it and enterprise said I was banned from usuing them for life because I used the b word which was a total lie. that was for the corporate complaint I filed against that store which really went NOWHERE. so don't even bother filing out surveys with enterprise. they said I was supposed to get two free days of a car rental voucher for my thirty hours of LOST time but they never happened either. they are just con artists .
10/04 Update: Hello CB - Thanks for your response. I never had to write to anyone last time I rented at Enterprise.
I was told as of this morning at the store I have a hold put on my driver's license from 2008 for not paying for the damages for a vehicle I had rented in 2008.
I do remember this incident from 2008. I was told there is hail damage on the vehicle and I should pay the deductible $500. I refused because I had the vehicle for a couple of days and there was no hail. The other funny thing is I have rented through enterprise at least a few times since 2008 and everytime this hold popped up the staff were able somehow override this and release the vehicle. The agent at this store said he will get fired tomorrow if he did something like that.. WOW!
Then he said i can call the loss and damage department or whatever and see if I can get to release the hold(again not sure why he wanted me to call them) so I did. Lack of training or exposure obviously he didn't seem to know that their offices were closed on a Saturday(more time wasted)
